1994:
Much before the offshore wave and the BPO term was coined; DataTree set up of an offshore operation in Hyderabad to build the largest real estate image database in the US. This vision to lead, innovate and excel laid the foundation for First Indian Corporation in India.
October 2002:
DataTree was acquired by The First American Corporation with over 200 employees and thus began the journey of First Indian Corporation that is today a leading provider of offshore technology and transaction services to the mortgage industry. The image processing operation in Hyderabad helped build America's largest online public land records and property database and today processes over 10 million images a week.
January 2003 :
The first of the Processing and Transformation services commenced at the International Tech Park (ITPB), Whitefield, Bangalore. Product Development Services were offered in February 2003. The processes continued to grow in numbers, size and complexity with increased focus on the mortgage domain. The Hyderabad center added software development services in December 2004.
June 2005:
Business and Risk Analytics Services were introduced to support the US mortgage industry.
January 2006:
The Technology Research function began their quest to innovate new technologies to support the mortgage industry.
February 2007:
First Indian Corporation extended its operations to the port city of Mangalore, a move that leverages the large pool of talented resources and spreads operational risk across multiple locations.
April 2009:
A new beginning for First Indian as we introduced our business information, transaction management and risk mitigation solutions to the real estate and mortgage segments in India through First Indian Services.
June 2010:
The First American Corporation spun-off its Information Solutions Group to create a new company, CoreLogic.
